Dallas Independent School District Under Fire After 7-Year-Old Boy With Special Needs Is Arrested


DISD Police Handcuff 7-Year-Old With Special Needs

ARLINGTON, TX (LEGEND) - A 7-year-old boy with special needs was hit, tasered and arrested by the Dallas Independent School District police following a mood disorder episode.

The 7-year-old attended Gabe P. Allen Elementary. That reportedly has counselors designed to deal with these types of episodes.

The family lawyer, Amar Dhillon, provided insight on the boy's recollection of the event.

“He did vividly describe being shocked and his physique convulsing, and he was very clear about that,” Dhillon stated.

The Dallas Independent School District district stated in a press release, “On account of federal confidentiality legal guidelines defending the privateness of all college students and their households, we’re unable to verify or deny the matter reported.”
