Cargill Meat Solutions recalls products due to a deadly E. coli strain
Cargill Meat Solutions issued a recall for 132,606 pounds of ground beef after reports of people getting sick reached the company. The packages with USDA label EST.86R contain a deadly strain of E. coli virus called “E. coli 0151:H7.”
If you or anyone you know has consumed this product be on the watch for symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, fever, and diarrhea (especially bloody stool), please visit your nearest ER hospital for immediate treatment.
CMS advises people that these products should either be returned to the place of purchase or thrown away.
