Small slug stops Japan's high -speed rail

A small slug is to blame for halting Japan's high-speed rail network last month causing over 10,000 passengers to be delayed in the early morning hours.

According to a company spokesman, the slug came into contact with an electrical cable that caused the massive power failure.

The only fatality resulting from the incident was the slug, as the company spokesman confirmed that the slug was found burned.
