Covid-19 patients fever lingers for months following diagnosis



According to NBC News, a COVID-19 patient has had a lingering fever after contracting the virus back in April and her symptoms have not gotten better.


According to the article, Amy Watson, 47, came down with the coronavirus back in April 2020 had has had a fever for more than 100 days.


She talked to NBC News and described her situation as "maddening."


The report added that Watson's temperature has gone up between 100-101 since March with symptoms including a 'burning sensation' under her skin.


It appears that the World Health Organization is just as baffled at slow recoveries, as the article added that "WHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged such reports and said they are working to better understand the recovery phase of the illness."
